New Hope Cancer Support Ministry Launching Soon
Battling cancer can be overwhelming…certainly for the patient, but for caregivers as well. We are proud to announce that First Melissa is launching Hope Cancer Support Ministry that will be focused on supporting those fighting cancer, family members and caregivers. Join us as Pastor Trey and cancer survivors from the First Melissa family host the first meeting on Thursday, April 20, from 7–8 p.m. in The Cafe (Bldg. B).

Are you married?  Will you ever be married?  Do you long for a marriage built on biblical truths?  Do you desire to be a husband or wife who loves like Jesus and lives like Jesus?  Join us Sunday, April 23, for the beginning of Pastor Trey Graham’s newest message series.  Please ask the Lord whom you should invite to this encouraging and practical Bible teaching series.

 

 

 

Discover Membership Lunch

If you would like to join the First Melissa church family, or if you would like more information about the church, we invite you to attend the Discover Membership lunch on Sunday, May 7, at 11:30 a.m. in The Cafe (Bldg. B). Activities, including lunch, are available for kids (birth–grade 6).

Baby Blessing, Sunday, May 14
(Baby Blessing Class, Sunday, May 7)
Baby Blessing (for children two years and younger) is a special time of commitment for parents to express publicly the desire to spiritually nurture their children to love God and love others. For details, or to register for the Baby Blessing class on Sunday, May 7, email ignitekids@firstmelissa.com or call 972.838.2277. The Baby Blessing service will be on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14, during our Sunday morning services.

Need Special Prayer?
Prayer Room Available During Services
Did you know that the First Melissa Prayer Room is open and available anytime during services? If you have a special need, burden or a struggle you are dealing with, it’s a great place where you can pray by yourself or with a member of our prayer team. Communion is also available. The prayer room is located just off the foyer, behind Information Center.
