Kevin Barham
Worship Arts Pastor
Worship Pastor Kevin Barham is not only a talented musician and worship leader, he also has a passion for seeing people worship the heavenly Father as a lifestyle, not just a weekly activity.
Kevin grew up in the Phoenix area, where he earned a bachelor's of science degree with a double major in marketing and business administration from Grand Canyon University. His musical journey began at age 5 when his father (who still joins our worship team as a special guest on occasion) taught him to play electric bass. With both parents being musicians, Kevin absorbed a fair amount of musical theory and application over time, all the while learning the importance of using the gift of music, created by God, to glorify God. Having become a follower of Christ at a young age, his love for music and for Jesus grew in parallel.
As a musician, Kevin has toured and performed in cities throughout the U.S. and all around the globe, including Ireland, Mexico, Spain, and Ukraine. His musical adventures have "played out" for audiences in places as diverse as concert halls, theaters, sports arenas, music festivals, churches, prisons, World Cup Soccer, and a Spanish bullfighting arena. As a member of Texas Country Boys - an evangelistic music team that shares the gospel in country music concerts abroad - he has seen over 22,000 people make positive decisions for Christ, and he intends to keep going places to share the good news of Jesus as long as doors remain open.
Kevin and his wife, RaeNell (much nicer and prettier than him), have four children and not much spare time...but they love traveling, serving God, and doing life with their First Melissa friends and family.
