Maghan Achimon
Arrow Academy Director
Maghan Achimon has been part of the Melissa community and a member of this church for almost a decade. Her education includes a bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University and master’s degree in School Counseling from Lamar University. After teaching in both Prosper and Melissa ISD for 7 years, she decided to take a break from teaching and stay home with her babies. She and her husband, Matthew Achimon, have four beautiful children, Alaina, William, Landon, and Caleb. Maghan started working part-time in our preschool ministry in 2019 and now runs Arrow Academy.
Matthew and Maghan have been involved in a number of ministries of our church including hosting a small group at their house since 2016, IMPACT week, volunteering in the youth group, hosting multiple DNOWs, etc. They believe the Lord has called them to First Melissa to serve their church and make a difference in the community.
