At First Melissa, we believe in prayer and the power of prayer. People need to be prayed for and people need to be praying. We live in a dark world, and our people have many needs during these challenging times. It is the desire of our church to have someone praying over these needs 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Praying for others will deepen and enhance your daily prayer habit. Join our 24-7 Prayer FM initiative by signing up for a 30-minute prayer commitment. Choose your commitment: sign up for a 30-minute slot once a week or sign up to pray for 30 minutes every day. Once you are registered, an email reminder will be sent to you about your upcoming prayer commitment. You will receive this reminder email both 24 hours, and then one hour before your upcoming prayer commitment. The email will contain the First Melissa Prayer Requests for the week. The Prayer Room at First Melissa is available Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm for your use if you so desire.
